What we specify

Vegetable-tanned leather darkens where hands touch it and where light reaches it. Two identical wallets look nothing alike after a year, and that is the point.

01 — Hide

3.5 mm vegetable-tanned shoulder. It holds a burnished edge and takes a patina.

02 — Thread

Waxed linen, saddle-stitched. If one stitch fails the seam does not unzip.

03 — Hardware

Solid brass, no plating. It dulls with use instead of flaking.
